I am so busy lately! I have 3 sick kiddos at home which are definitely testing the boundaries of my sanity... and I have to keep them out of school for another week yet! BOnKeRs I tell you.
Lucky for me, I have a lot keeping me engaged in building my business. You will start to see a lot of changes I am making over the next 2 months. The first one that you will note is that I will no longer be offering my portfolio building session rates, nor will I be offering the images on disc (unless otherwise noted in the Specials section to the left). Thanks to all of my wonderful friends, families and beautiful clients; I am taking my business to the next level. The professional level.
I have been struggling emotionally this past week with the decision to offer printing. The offering part isn't hard, it's imposing the minimum orders. So if you will, please note that my minimum print order is now $125. I will be periodically offering print credits and images on disc specials though, so keep your eye out for those.
"Why won't you let me print at [ ] (insert Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Shutterfly) anymore!?" Well it's a matter of pride when it comes down to it. The print paper, and print quality of the services I am now offering are much more superior to the 1-Hour photo labs and Kodak printer kiosks, and I only want the best for my clients.
Currently I don't have an option to buy the disc and rights to the images from your gallery outright. I would like to offer it in the future, but I am not sure how I am going to make it available at this time. Once I figure out all of the logistics, I will be putting that on the list.
For now, watch for more posts on some photos I haven't gotten up yet, and also keep your eye out for a new website at the beginning of April!

Oh my poor neglected blog! I will have some more posts up in the next couple of days! Things have been busy with so many family gatherings and appointments this month that I am looking forward to February's calm calendar. There are all kinds of new things to watch for next month- I have been learning a lot of new editing tricks, and some new actions are in the works; as well as some new props on the way! So much to do and so little time! We are back in full swing this week as far as routines go, and I just can't seem to get into them! My "catch-up" posts aren't going to be going up daily- I get my wisdom tooth extracted tomorrow and doubt that I will be in the mental capacity I should be for blogging; so this one will have to do for the time being! Here is a group of silly and sweet cousins that got together for a holiday photograph for their grandma. It was a special session because this little gal lives on the coast and was meeting new baby cousin for the first time, and hadn't seen her dashing older cousin for over a year! We had a lot of fun. There are more of the littlest guy to come in a separate post!
The Olson Family In The Fall!
Okay, we are back revisiting the Fall season again. I really miss those sessions! 5pm at sunset with the beautiful reds, golds, and greens still mingling in the foliage... sure beats all of this white we've got now! Even though we had a tough time getting her to stand still long enough for a picture, the ones we got of this little cutie are so sweet! And the cheeks on baby brother are so chubby! What a great looking family! Mom is expecting this summer- so keep an eye out in a few months for her maternity and newborn photos!

So I am jumping far ahead (I intended to catch up chronologically) so that this fantastic couple can have a sneak peak at their photos. I have to just tell you that these two were troopers. It was cold and windy and they endured it all for some snapshots... and I think it paid off! They even took off their coats for some of them! I had a lot of fun with these two despite the elements. By the way Marcus, thanks for pushing my car out! ;)

Okay... so there is no hiding just how behind I am on posts, especially for you locals. But this will be a nice flashback to Fall for you all then! ;) I am such a fan of the abandoned farm out here, the colors at sunset were just brilliant!
